What to read next, from what you’ve already read.

Upload your reading history and get a long list of books, each with a reason. No account, and your file never leaves your browser.

How to get your file

Your book tracker can give you a CSV file of your library. Upload it as it is, with no need to open or edit it.

Goodreads
  1. On the Goodreads website, open Import and export. You can also find it under Tools on the My Books page.
  2. Click Export Library.
  3. Wait for a dated link to appear below the button. A large library can take a few minutes.
  4. Click the link to download your file, then add it above.

The Goodreads app can't export. On a phone, use the desktop version of the website.

The StoryGraph
  1. On the StoryGraph website, open your Manage Account page.
  2. Scroll to Manage Your Data and click Export StoryGraph Library.
  3. StoryGraph emails you when the file is ready. Return to the same page and refresh it.
  4. Download your file, then add it above.
Hardcover
  1. Sign in and open your Hardcover exports page.
  2. Export your library and download it as a CSV file.
  3. Add the file above.
Fable

Fable has no export of its own, so this uses ShelfBridge, a free Chrome extension made by someone else.

  1. In Chrome, install ShelfBridge from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Open ShelfBridge, click Connect and sign in to Fable.
  3. When it asks where your books are going, choose StoryGraph and download the file. Choosing Goodreads makes a file readnxt can’t read.
  4. Add the file above.

ShelfBridge signs in to your Fable account, so only use it if you trust it.
